[Transmission #2 (Defying Anti-Gravity)]

Jan 05, 2009 21:42

[ Sasuke is sipping tea from a juicebox, while standing on the ground proper. He heaves a small, wistful sigh before making the single most important statement anyone has made about the lack of gravity to date: ]

I miss proper tea.

Sasuke! Sasuke! It floats! [This is a new and huge revelation to the goddess.]

[ Sasuke raises an eyebrow, temporarily amused. ]

Yes it does, Amaterasu.

[Ammy thinks this is awesome.] It is strange and a little difficult at first, but I think I am beginning to get it. This is really fun!

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, Goddess.

[ He really can't stomach any more of this box tea. Sigh. ]

Baka! We're all floating around and all you're thinking about is tea?!

[a bowl of ramen then bumps Naruto on the forehead. He groaned.]

Well, I miss eating proper ramen too..

Ah, the sphere was on.

[ Way to not address being called an idiot. Have a healthy eating retort instead. ]

You shouldn't. The sodium's bad for you.

Sodium? That's salt, right? But, ramen tastes real good! Something that good couldn't be bad to you.

Ramen is fine - in moderation.

The tea here is a travesty, isn't it?

It even tastes fake!

It's like they weren't even trying.

[ A flippant, amused remark - even if the amusement is buried deep. ]

[He sounds serious enough to Abel, and that means it's time to whine.]

It's true! It's true! I can't imagine what kind of cruel, heartless monster would think to drain all the life out of a cup of tea!

A blue-eyed, blonde-haired Captain might be a good place to start.

Try a water bottle. There are ceramic ones, so the plastic doesn't ruin the taste of the tea.

Hmm. [ He shoves the box into a trash container. ] Where?

The shop's a little hard to get to, but you can't miss it. It has a Chinese-themed exterior and sells ceramics of all kinds. I was able to get a traditional tea set there.

[ Actually, the idea of a traditional tea set piques his interest even more, if only for the sake of familiarity. ]

Hn. Thanks. [ Not even a proper 'thank you.' He's getting lax. ]
