The hospital isn't what he finds this time, however. It's a calm afternoon in a room that looks like many others familiar to people from Konoha -- so a handful of the ship's passengers -- and on ( Read more... )

[ Sasuke is back on network, just not near the book. He's back to laying down. By now, he's feeling... sleep is pretty good. He could do some more of that.

Neutral expression? Entirely ignored. ]

[How morbid but justifiable. The end of all trouble's. A stopper to the harbingers of chaos. Another definition of peace. Itachi tilts his head...slowly. After all those images. This does not help him feel better. He truly was a monster.]

[None the less, as dangerous as love always has been, it was the only thing that Itachi ever held on to. He could not believe in the memories of old because surely they would be forgotten by a vengeful brother he had created. Love may not have been wise to keep but it was enough to remind him he was still faithful.

Perhaps the death of them all was the only way things would do. Either way, he preferred that he had not killed his brother but that he died valiantly at the hands of another. He could have never done it. Sasuke was a good shinobi.

He turns his head away from the screen.]
