99x fired almost their entire staff.

They're basically moving Queer100 over to the 99.7 frequency.

Hey.. I sympathize with you. You're lucky though that WDJX stayed the way it did for so long. Yeah I'm a radio geek - DJ in a former life, so I keep up on radio outside of indy too.

Radio up here in Hoosierville changes yearly. At least once a year some radio station changes it's format. That's what we get for living in the nations test market though. Some of the fast food, drinks, cigarettes, and such we can get here are just amazing.. stuf you'll see in years.

I lost my point somewhere.. oh yeah.. the radio here sucks, so I went to XM and haven't gone back. HD Radio was tempting, but they recently changed a lot of those formats too... just like my TV.. satelite is for me.

There was a promo for The Bert Show/Q100 moving over to 99x's signal on Saturday evening. I came across it while flipping through the channels. I was like you - WTF?

I used to be a Bert Show fan, but got rather tired of so many people on the "voice disguiser." After a short while it became obvious that most of their callers were making up their issues as they went along.

Never really listened to 99x's morning show. I've been giving 94.1 new Morning Mess Steve and Vicki replacement show a spin, but it seems like a relic from the 80's. So now I tend to spend most of my driving time listening to Morning Edition and All Things Considered on 90.1. Let's just say I love some Schwetty Balls.

My favorite radio format of all time was the modern rock/alternative mix of Alice 97.3 in San Francisco, circa 1996-1999. I would love for the new 100.5 to capture that vibe, but I doubt it would play well in Atlanta.
