I had an amazing time and just so you know, I asked EJO THAT question :)

I asked him firstly if he thought that there were any aspects of Laura Roslin and William Adama that current politicians could learn from. His reply was to laugh and go 'Yeah!' and then he started talking about how great Mary

Okay, hi, I love you for this! LOL

So, as soon as he answered my question and I sat down, he started talking again about how awesome Mary McDonnell is AND he did a Mary Impression! He told us how she cracks up on set sometimes and bursts out laughing and they have to close down until she's composed herself, and just to demonstrate, he impersonated her laughing her ass off. It was so funny! I recorded it but I'm not sure if the sound is okay, I'll check.

Okay, that is hilarious. Even without okay sound, I'd kill to see/hear that. LOL

No problem :) I was more than happy to share it :) I don't think anyone else was heading towards asking him anything A/R related so I thought I'd try. Even though I didn't get a very clear answer, it wasn't negative and it certainly had an air of hope about it.

OMG I really enjoyed reading this post of yours!! It all sounds so happy and bouncy! And OMG...so awesome what EJO said about Mary. Would love to see her laugh like that...wouldn't that be great?

LOL! It was happy and bouncy :) I can't wait to see what the people who were recording the Q&A got.

EJO seemed to constantly come back to talking about Mary. I think he picked up on the fact that we were all more than happy to listen to him talk about her. Also, he's blatently very fond of her and the friendship and warmth he feels for her genuinly comes through in everything he says about her and her character.

That is just so awesome. You know, I think that's why A/R works. There is a click, there is chemistry. Whatever the relationship Laura and Bill have, there is something. I just love hearing about EJO talking about Mary.

I have to say that it was great hearing Mary talk about her colleagues at FedCon last April. She and Jamie also have a chemistry and it was an awesome panel. Mary was genuinly interested in what Jamie had to say, which was so sweet. She really listened to him and complimented him on his thoughts and acting etc. I liked that a lot. Now, let's hope Mary's actually coming to England next February so we can all squee our brains out some more! *g*

I'll upload the impersonation later today when I get it cut down to size. It's cute :) He just throws his head backs and laughs and then laughs into his hand, it's sweet :) Plus, there was one moment when he was answering questions when the face he pulled was just classic Laura Roslin/Mary McDonnell. :) Maybe he picked it up from her, maybe she picked it up from him?Either way, it was sweet to see that they'd had an effect on each other even at that level.
