There once was an old fishing couple, a husband and wife who lived near the sea. They could have no children, and both were very lonely. The man went and fished all day, every day. Sometimes when he'd come back, with the money he'd earned, he would buy beautiful things for his wife, but she was still very sad. She didn't smile.

Well, I can't full credit, I'm afraid. It's my version of The Little Mermaid. So, the inspiration is someone else's, but the words are definitely all mine. :)

That was wonderful! Look at you, branching out all over the place. It was such a nice, feel good, story. Whether it was intentional or not, the story had a great rolling quality to it, like gentle waves that flowed to the conclusion. That's the sense I got through the whole thing.
