Do you realize you wrote a full-length novel there? Congratulations! Too bad the formatting - I assume for the SSA - is being such a bitch, but as a fan of this epic, I really look forward to having it all together in one place.
And I don't know if its that people aren't around or are just out of things to say but it is wierd.
*cringes in sympathy for you* Wow - 472 pages, what an excruciating task. Take your time. It's all on your LJ, so you don't have to get it done this weekend, even this month. Do it a little at a time and it'll be done before you know it.
Yeah, where is everyone? It's like the Clex fandom died overnight and no one told me. I'm hoping it's just unconscious, so together we can prod it back awake. That's a wee bit dramatic, but the SV fandom certainly does seem to have declined over the summer. Or is it my imagination. It seems odd to say - there was the SVBB, the sv remix, another CLFF wave, and those awards...and yet, the fandom does seem to be fading away in spite of all that.
It was like, okay, everybody abandon ship! Except some of us weren't told, so we're still blithely rowing away over here, while everybody else swims to shore.
I don't think the fandom's dead (*whimper*), but, you're right, it's definitely unconscious. Maybe sleep apnea? We better go over there and make sure the Clex doesn't die in its sleep. . .
Oh man, what a huge job. I have yet to format anything for SSA or post over there. I suppose someday I should. *looks at all my stories and cringes*

Of course I'm being seriously distracted by an original fic (book, who am I kidding?) that I'm writing and a bright, shiny new fandom (Leverage--Christian Kane! Yummy!) so I've slowed down a lot. I'll never give up the Clex. Clark and Lex are too sexy together for that.
You totally should post some of your stuff over there, but I understand your hesitation. You've got a lot of stories, man, and some of 'em are extreeeeeeemely long.
And good luck to you, both with the novel and in the new fandom (*nods* Christian Kane is indeed of the yummy.)
I cried tears of blood formatting stuff for SSA. It scared me so much I haven't tried any other archives--could they all be so horribly clumsy? It's a great story--it needs to be archived.
*HUG* I hear what you say about SV and why the hell do I feel guilty? (i do!!!) I'll never not love Clark and Lex, but right now, everything my brain has to say is about Sam and Dean and even there, it's not as deep and all consuming as the Clex was. I'll never love like that again! *sob*

Oh, don't feel guilty! It just seems really quiet around here these days. I'm a little guilty too, though. I haven't been reading all that much Clex, too obsessed with the Wincest. I still write it! *nervous smile*

ermmm, well, for the time being, I am sort of abandoning clex fandom and my own flist and all clex writers for couple of month, for the sake of the big bang fics. and for me driving crack_van for SV.
so just saying, anyone I ignore is totally deliberately ;D
and phewww, good luck in formatting for SSA. its so shitty, that there is no sort of script or macro in word, that could make your job easier.
