I just told you I was trying to be good and you have to go and post another chapter of this excellent angst-fest. Dean is soo messed up and you capture that so well.

I haven't seen an episode with the father yet, but from things I've seen and read it appears you have their dynamic down very well too. I love Adam, but feel a little sorry for him being dropped in the middle of this time bomb.

I love how you show how important family is to Dean - the little touches like continuing to contact Sam, even though there's no reciprocation, and how he's there on Christmas for Adam.

Great new chapter as always. I'm looking forward to seeing how you develop it.

jesus--that's fucking bleak as hell and you've got my heart aching for Dean. god, this was really sad. I'm feeling sorry for everyone and I'm about to come kidnap Adam.

And that fall down the stairs--ouch, and yeah, that SUCKS when that happens. ;)

'Tis the bleak midwinter, hon. Things'll get better for everyone(ish), don't you worry. My fics employ the U-shape in terms of plot development: Starts out okay, goes downhill fast, and ends okay (not great, but open-ended, optimistic). I won't letcha down! :)

And I agree. I've had a fall like that happen too many damn times, and of course always in public.

Thank you for reading. It's nice to know I can successfully pull off both fandoms. :)

Are you sure you can't fit Sam in here somewhere? He's making Dean's heart bleed angst all over my computer and that's just sad. How can John not miss Sam either? Stupid man.
