omg, I know! I could not *believe* Lydia's mom died! And how rough a time she's having and why the fuck doesn't she reach out to someone? This reliance on her partner is not a good thing. He's too good a guy and he's getting way too personal about her personal life.
I don't know why the hell they need to make everyone's life so freaking depressing. I just watched the show and slid lower and lower into my chair. oy.
Maybe that's a fan's insight, but the sins of the father being revisited upon the son? Yeah, Ben having little compassion for that boy tonight hits like a punch to the gut
of all people, right?
I still love my show, just wish they'd take it up a little. I feel like they're setting us up for something. I hope it's going to be a good payoff. To me right now, it feels a little aimless. Still any ep of SL is better than any ep of almost anything else.
Talk about your cliffhanger! And I don't know about the partner. I mean, at least she hasn't totally pushed this one away like she has the rest (although the deal with the female partner was different and not really anybody's fault--talk about awkward). I think he's actually barreling his way into friendship, which could be a really good thing now. Partners can be friends. . .
I don't know why the hell they need to make everyone's life so freaking depressing.Exactly! It's like the audience is the characters' mom, and we only see what's wrong with their lives and how we need to fix them, never the good stuff. Like, Coop's boyfriend (of 3 years?! where the hell has that guy been this whole time?!), who we only briefly meet before they "break up." Why couldn't see them happy together for a small scene or two? *fumes
