That makes the only possible sense. Seen this way, everything that Cas has done and what he ended up doing, makes sense. To me, though, Cas floundered a lot season 5, and the beginning of season six. He didn't know what to do, where to go, and I think he was terribly disappointed by Dean, though kind of unfairly so.

Now, he has this immense power, and no one to stop him or advise him and no one he feels close to. It's pretty scary. He's so sensitive and feels so much, and now there's all this power inside him. I can't imagine where they're going to take him next.

I'm also a little afraid to see where *you* take Cas next. :)
