Didn't hear the interview yet, though I've thought McKinney was interesting for a while now. She made really intriguing statements right after 9-11 in Mike Ruppert's documentary "The Truth and Lies of 9-11" in which she suggests that the current administration is a criminal syndicate. No surprise there, but given the climate at the time ("Don't say anything bad about the President") it was heartwarming, I must say.

*sigh*

i know a lot of people who think supporting anyone who's not the democratic nominee seems like a waste...but as awesome and ground-breaking as it would be to have a black man in the white house i just don't feel good about supporting the democrats.

with that in mind, cynthia mckinney seems like someone who might be WORTH supporting (based on the little i know at this point). at a minimum, she's interesting enough that i want to know more about her candidacy.

plus, i like the idea of a young(!) hip-hop activist as running mate. it's irreverent and in-your-face -- take that white male establishment!
