CBS 5 has a breaking news bulletin on their website which states: "Johannes Mehserle, the BART police officer who shot and killed an unarmed man New Year's Day, has been arrested, an aide to Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums has told the Oakland Tribune."

no shit! they arrested him in nevada, according to channel 2 news. no specific charge yet.
