I'm really concerned the things you "can't talk about" have something to do with me, since I'm a fellow AUSA staffer and I read your blog. Please send me any feedback to my email so I can try to improve next year... for all of us.

It isn't you, so that isn't why I can't talk about it. I will give some thoughts about how marketing can improve in the next few days.

Know lots of panelists who disagree about the Programming doing a wonderful job. Many didn't know their panels were approved until 2 weeks before con, and that's not much time to prepare. I attended a few panels and while I learned new things the quality of the panels would be far better if they had more advance notice. Many panelists apologized for their lack of preparation, but lack of time and real life make it hard to do something at the last minute.

He made his mistakes, but I think he has learned from them. This was his and many of his staff's first year doing this, also. He cross communicated well with me, at least.
