Home Warranty!

The day has come where we have to choose a home warranty company for the new house. I've been looking over the brochures the realtor gave us for weeks, and really? They all look pretty much the same.

Does anybody out there have a home warranty? (thesetiredeyes, you have one right

We use American National, and they've been awesome so far. Our fridge broke a month after moving in, the guy came out, said it was beyond repair, we paid our "copay" and he left. The next day they called us and asked what color we wanted our new fridge to be. :) Love them.

We also have our warranty through them, and it's saved us SO MUCH money on both the HVAC Debacle and the Dead Disposal Fiesta. It also covered our pest control when we had the Great Ant Invasion of '08.

I recommend them as well.

Aon (the warranty group) and 2-10 are decent companies in my opinion

Old Republic Home Protection

My husband and I have used Old Republic Home Protection on our last 3 homes. I have been very pleased with them, the contractors they send out to do the repairs and the nice people in their service center.

I also like that I can place a request for service online at www.orhp.com. It always seems like something breaks late at night and it is so easy to sit down, place the order for service and get a call in the morning.
