Does it seem to you like things are going backwards in a way? I just assumed we'd be a little more capable of dealing with important issues like this when I was younger and yet, we so aren't.

I'm trying so hard to avoid making a comment about how anyone could think Mountain Dew prevented conception, given how many people drink it regularly.

And those abstinence-only programs are ridiculous. All they do is make it so that when (many) kids eventually have sex, they don't have condoms because that would make them "look bad." Cause your "True Love Waits" ring is SO much more important than protecting yourself against life-threatening diseases and unwanted pregnancy. *headdesk*
