the Dear Diary meme

You're going about your day as normal when suddenly, you stumble across a notebook. What's this? Why, it's someone's diary! Perhaps it's your roommate's or your friend's or your lover's. Konoka had begun to settle into something of a daily routine in the Red Lights District. There were some unusual sights, and she basically had to be both cautious and understanding when meeting new people.

Imagine then, to her surprise, when she picked up a dropped book. She couldn't tell it was someone's personal diary--not until she flipped to a page. And much to her surprise, it also detailed seeing Konoka herself in the numerous latex suits, sexy boots, and bondage she was in while minding the front of the store. Albeit the text was rather--innocent? Not unlike what she herself would have written before getting to the hotel.

Konoka shut the book, face red at this revelation, and wondered--did she have a stalker?

Not stalker, more like a curious observer honestly. After wandering into the district and exploring for a few days, Amelia had found out just how tame her perceptions were when it came to sex. Of course in the hotel she had been aware others liked to do things differently, but she had been fortunate enough to avoid getting involved with anyone who wanted her to do something she was unfamiliar with. Here, it was right in practically in view around every corner, and couldn't be ignored ( ... )

Funny how that worked--as soon as Konoka had stopped, she noticed the other girl, completely horrified at the fact that she had been reading it. This must be the diary's original owner! And having seen her once or twice, it made sense!

Unfortunately, she WAS caught red-handed nosing through her diary. As such, she was quick to apologize. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know it was a diary until I started reading it, and then it was all about the stuff I do and before I knew it... well, here!" Konoka handed it back, blushing the whole way.

Amelia could only gawp for the longest time, still frozen in place at the thought of what the other girl had managed to read, namely about herself. She didn't even want to imagine the impression her silly curiosites had given, though when Konoka hurridly returned the book, she had a fairly good idea.

Nodding, she took the diary, swallowing heavily. There was plenty to be said, but nothing seemed appropriate. Unfortunately one thing in particular refused to stop nagging her. She was probably going to regret asking this, but..."H-How much did you read?"

Konoka giggled sheepishly at her question. "Well, the only parts I remember were basically all the questions about what I was wearing, or why I didn't look distressed when I was bound and gagged outside of the store. That's it, honest." Well, seeing her being "kidnapped" and then seeing her just fine outside the store a couple of hours later was bound to pull some questions, so if Amelia wanted to ask about them, she was more than happy to answer.

Even that information being found out was enough to make Amelia blush more, clutching the diary tightly to her chest as she chewed her lower lip. She might have shyly been inclined to enquire about some of those things now that the girl was right in front of her, if she was honest about it. However, the princess was far too embarrassed to consider much more than simply trying to apologise for the whole mess.

"I see. Then all I can say is I'm really sorry for writing that stuff. I shouldn't be making assumptions, but that sort of stuff is, well...rather unfamiliar territory, so I couldn't really understand it." she babbled.

"Well, I suppose bondage would be a little weird for someone who hasn't really seen it before," Konoka tapped her chin, just as sheepish as Amelia was. "It's different for everyone, but I guess the idea of bondage for me is using helplessness and agitation for sexiness." Maybe she couldn't convey it right, but she'd love to try. "Being powerless to stop people from whatever sexy thing they do to you turns me on... the hotel can thank me for that."

"Bondage..." she murmured, mulling over the new word, though her face was still rosy in thinking of the definition. Even so, the sexual implications weren't the only thing that confused her. "I'm still not sure I understand the draw. Isn't it rather scary, being defenceless like that? What if something went wrong?" she asked. Amelia could always rely on magic or fighting skills if in a tight spot, so the idea of not being able to fight back seemed a rather dangerous prospect if with the wrong person.

"It might be because I'm a demon, and it also might be because of my past experiences, but that scariness is part of the excitement," Despite the blush in her face, Konoka's eyes were alight in enthusiasm. "However, it's always important to find someone to build trust with." And Konoka too had magic abilities to help her escape tight spots--but more often than not, the hotel rarely, if ever, dropped her in any real danger without any means of defending herself, and this district was no different.

The look on Amelia's face clearly showed her surprise at the revelation, but thought better than commenting. She had already said, or written, some things she wouldn't blame Konoka for being upset about, it wouldn't be right to press further. "Oh, I think I understand, though it's a bit hard to imagine." she replied, glancing at the ground, still rather weary, but managed to give a small smile all the same. "Again, I'm sorry about this. But thanks for giving me some insight. I should probably let you get back to work though huh?"

"Well, I'm sorta on break, but why don't you come to the store?" Konoka usually had boundless enthusiasm, and right now was no exception. "It could be a new learning experience! Plus you can try out all that stuff you were curious about on me! Or let me do it to you, either one is fine!"

Truthfully, Amelia still felt a little intimdated. However, the other seemed to enthusiastic, it would be rude to turn down the offer. Besides, it would sate any curiosity she had, which meant she would be a bit more prepared if this notion ever arose in the hotel during an encounter.

"Well, I guess a little look couldn't hurt." came the soft response as she followed behind Konoka. No doubt it would be easy to notice her eyes flickering around the store with some bewilderment once they were inside.

This store had a number of... interesting items. Ropes and toys of all kinds, gags, whips... for a first timer it would be downright scary. There were also clothes--albeit most of them were fetish--perhaps the least strange were a selection of boots, and even those had some interesting variants.

Konoka stayed close to Amelia. "There's a lot, but I can explain anything. If you really want to start out, I'd say stick with restraints and gags."

Despite her nerves, Amelia did her best to put on brave face. She would have questioned the issue of comfort, but she supposed that for some items, the point was for the person taking part to hurt a bit, as much as the idea was a little disturbing to her.

"I have actually been tied up and gagged once, but the person who found me let me go right away." she admitted, gingerly reaching out to examine a pair of handcuffs.

Konoka wasn't going to be too pushy--she was more or less just an enthusiast (and not so willing model), so she let her do the picking. "You probably didn't have much time to stew in it, didn't you?" The cuffs she had were the much longer than the standard police cuffs. "My first time was when I had been kidnapped by a wicked mage who wanted to use my powers. However, the way she borrowed my power--it felt extremely good. And from the first few moments in the hotel, every time I had been tied and gagged, it took me back to that moment, although it was far less scary remembering it now."

She looked at the cuffs. "By the way, good choice. They don't chafe your skin like regular cuffs do."

Shaking her head, Amelia glanced down at the cuffs, fingers running over the chain thoughtfully as she answered the question. "No, I was more concerned with being locked in a trunk at the time. When I was found, the priority was to free me." she replied.

Honestly, the idea of such force was still rather baffling, but she could understand a little bit better now at least. Still, she did feel bad on knowing the other had endured such a thing, even if it did turn out for the best. Perhaps it was simply one of things you had to experience first hand to appreciate, that notion making her blush more. That only got worse with the compliment of her choice of restraints.

"Well, I must admit I'm at a bit of loss as to why pain is something people enjoy as well, I wouldn't want to hurt someone like that." she mused, swallowing at the sight of some of the mouth bits and gags, not to mention some of those outfits didn't look that comfortable.
