I believe I have found the feeling of knowing what you're good at in life and following it. Weird feeling it is, almost something you want to fight against, and yet it's about as natural as breathing.

So, if you'll excuse me, I seriously need to geek-out here for a minute.

I am still annoyed with fandom moving to tumblr, even though these days I spend more time there than LJ but THAT'S WHERE EVERYTHING IS.

And lol the DW 50th will be in 3D. That is about all I know. XD

Tumblr is where everything is, I completely agree. And I do spend a lot of time there (although LJ and DW are always open while I'm at work) but the format still bothers me. Ok, pretty picture and no discussion. Um...do I reblog? Do I click on the heart-shaped thing? Wait, am I on Facebook?! :/

Suppose I need to move with the times. *sigh* At least fanfic still seems to be on the main staples and haven't moved on to Tumblr. I'd love to see AO3 be bigger than the Pitt someday.

I heard Doctor Who was going to be in 3D and that was about it. I've become so far removed from that fandom that it's a bit strange. I try so hard to care I'm waiting for the feels!

tumblr confused me for the longest time but I've gotten used to it (EXCEPT FOR THEIR OBNOXIOUS HABIT OF CHANGING THINGS W/ NO WARNING >:C ) and while I don't necessarily like it better than LJ, it has its place. Like for pretty fandom pictures. :3

As for the 50th, all the doctors will be in it. :3

It does have pretty fandom pictures. And gifs. Oh, and the amusing reactions to people on it. I'm still learning Tumblr but it's getting easier...I think.

All of the Doctors? Well, I like that idea. Suppose I'll have to watch if they're all in there.... :P

It does get easier. Especially once you figure out tags and find nice tumblrs to follow for your fandom. AND GET TUMBLR SAVIOR OMG. Missing e and XKit are pretty important too.

I'm gonna watch it but >:C Moff.

One thing I don't understand is having more than one Tumblr blog for different fandoms, which seems to happen a lot. Do most people just use one Tumblr blog to reblog/post things or do they separate by fandom? I find that to be the most confusing part.

Are those three you mentioned extensions or scripts? If I'm to spend more time on this site, not only do I need something to help me navigate but a better color system...Heh.

Yeah, I hear you on that. At least I can wash my brain out with some Classic Who I haven't been watching lately if it goes badly. Been itching for a Five fix too, like "Terminus." Hrm...

Tumblr is horrible for fandoms, any kind of decent discussion/conversation is practically impossible ugh.

Eh, we disagree on Lauren. I don't care much for her (or at all, tbh), but I do agree that the show might be going for Bo/Lauren as endgame couple.

Thank you so much! It's a very surreal feeling to finally find something I have a passion for, that I can see myself working in for twenty years down the road. I was talking to a career counselor yesterday (while on my lunch break, ironically) and she was saying that those who do find a passion don't always recognize it. They think that work should be hard and annoying, not something remotely enjoyable, but it can be. And while I feel the same I can also see the other alternative, where you do love the stuff you work on. Bloody hard to describe but...yeah, awesome. :D And Happy Post ( ... )

Yeah, I guess it could be one of those things that have been "staring at you for a long time" but we keep looking for that ~something~ and basically just complicating things that are pretty simple.

I do hope you find your place/passion/whatever too! I don't mean to sound too cliched but its worth looking for and it does bring a certain peace with it, along with the craziness of it all. Good luck in your journey, even if it never ends. :)Thank you, I hope so too ( ... )

Ugh, Lost Girl tag on Tumblr can be the worst. SO MUCH HATE - so many various insults, slut!shaming, slurs... horrible.I've noticed. I need to either take a hot shower or crawl into bed, possibly both, after going through some of that. Srsly, you guys ( ... )
