After two hours of compressing FRAPs videos of everything up to the final mission in Mass Effect 3 (side note: totally played until 3:30 in the morning, again, due to MP and severely underestimating the time the last two missions would take), I finished the game earlier this afternoon

My reaction is now constantly changing. I'm not sure what to think anymore other than just being sad it ended. I lost Shepard even if I was expecting it all along. Human emotions...what fickle things they are.

I hope you got the cheesecake you deserved. And congrats on finishing the game! Were any of the alternate endings more of what you were hoping for?

I'm currently eating the last of my cheesecake and probably will be in bed around...oh, 0200. Stupid game has me wired.

The alternate endings were much the same, which is why a lot of the internet is in RAGE over this, but I'm not sure how else this trilogy could have ended. I'm just...sad, is all.

So did the storyline pretty much span all three games? What were you hoping for from the ending?

I hope it wasn't all "Battlestar Galactica". :(

(which I actually haven't seen, but apparently the series was epic and had a ending that a lot of people didn't like)
