Well, I just finished watching The Eagle (2011) and, well, maintext.

In my personal head canon, they go on to have adventures in Gaul together while sleeping together.

In Gaul or Britain? Gaul is, in essence, Western Europe but normally just considered France. I think they stayed in Britain or Esca followed Marcus to take that command that was offered to him.

Did you see the alternate ending? I only liked the ending where they talked about breeding horses together. Yeah, read into that as much as you'd like to.

Gaul because Marcus would be showing Esca his ~homeland~. IDK, I don't remember much about exactly how it ended but I came up with that before we left the theatre.

I thought Marcus wanted to buy his father's estate in Rome back with the money he'd be given...or was that the other ending. IDEK. Still, the fact remains that those two aren't going to be separated anytime soon.

The extras on the DVD were slim but I did like the bit about horse breeding. lolz
