Wow, You're in your new place, have the interwebs, and BBC America. I don't think there are any recipes that call for the three ingredients you have in your fridge. However, Mt. Dew is a staple. Honestly, I'd prefer to run out of milk, and I'm the domestic goddess type. Unpacking and organizing can be so much fun. I love trying to decided how to arrange stuff and make it all neat and pretty.
I know that you're not a Moffet fan, and you know that I've only watched series five for KG's legs, but BBC has lots and lots of good programing. I actually dislike most American t.v.
It sounds like your in the city center. That will be so much fun. I live in boring suburbia, but I loved living where you could walk anyplace you wanted to go. The city always has something to do so you never get bored.
I'm glad you're getting settled. Let me know if you need anything even if it's just an ear. *hugs*
Wow, I hadn't realized how late I've gotten on my comments. Sorry if this bothers you but replying, even to exceptionally late ones, is what I have to do.
Um, still in the stages of unpacking. The mess in my apartment works...mostly.
BBC America does have some great programming but it's not the main channel I watch, really. I still enjoy American TV, even some reality shows, mainly just for kicks. I'm not sure how I could exclude a whole nation's programming either. Plus, the British must have their own duds too.
I was living out in the suburbs with my mother but now, with the middle of the city being just ten minute away is pretty neat. Lots of opportunities about.
Even if I'm doing a lot of the helping, I know. *hugs*
yeah, not much you make with milk and cream cheese, lol. glad to hear you're starting to get settled though :) hopefully we'll find time for one of those silly late night chats soon?
lol! I made do with milk and cream cheese just fine. I also had bagels to hold me over so I was fine that week. I may have had eggs too, come to think of it.
We still owe ourselves a late night chat. I know I'll be up and about at all ours of the day starting tomorrow but your life is a tad crazy so no pressure. I'll start collecting some DT pictures to entire you with. ;)
Sorry for my late reply but indulge me for a bit; it bothers me when I leave things unreplied to. Damn you, OCD!
lol. I do have lots of food in my cupboards, not to mention a large collection of sodas, but good food like fruits and vegetables are in my fridge. Maybe I'll grab the cherries for tonight. Or the cookies.... I actually haven't improved much, have i?
What you doing gaming, girl? I thought you didn't do such nonsense! ;) Which reminds me that I need to cancel my XM Radio subscription not just because I can't get a signal from my apartment but there's so many instant streaming sites out there now, especially with Spotify in the US now. Yay!
Here I was sitting down for my weekly installment of Amy's short skirts, and .. theyre not there.
Hehe! I love that you talk nothing of plot or characters but just skirts and girls. I love you! *big hugs* I haven't seen the last couple of episodes but I think they'd squick me out too much. At least the DVDs come out today, right? So, skirt time, no?
