All my friends and family thought my rats were gross. I asked them "Have you ever been bitten by a dog, ignored by a cat, etc..?" When they said yes I informed them that my rats have never done any of that. That usualy got them to at least hold them, and they all fell in love with rats.

Once Lorelei was spiting me, I think for giving her a bath, and she wouldn't come when she was called. ;)

My rats dont come when called yet, well one is starting too . I just started training them.

My girlfriend used to be all "Ewww rats, I am never going into your house again!" when I got them. But now she too is growing to like the little furballs, and can stand being around me while they are on my shoulder. (It was that picture in my icon that made her think they were cute)

I posted on a message board about my little baby guy, and this girl was like, "it's just a rat. rats are so dirty." Only she didn't say it nearly as comprehendable as that.

I wanted to shove a brick up her ass. :/

I'm a cat fan myself, but rats are in no way bad.

I say that mostly because I actually mean it, but partially because my friends (who are at least 80% rat owners) would use my intestines for my very own noose if I said otherwise.
