Back when we first started redial_the_gate we mentioned we'd think about SGA down the road...it seemed so far away back then.
Three years and almost 350 members/watchers later...we're coming up on Season 8 and soon enough, season 10 and the movies will be here. The other mods and I also realized due to our own commitments/interests, we wouldn't be able to handle another rewatch community for SGA.
Short story, the four of us will not be running a "redial atlantis".
That said, if anyone wants to take the reins for such a project, we'd be happy to give you any/all advice we could about setting it up and affiliating with this comm. Truth be told, it's ALL OF YOU as members that have made redial_the_gate the awesome community it is. And we are very appreciative of your efforts.
Speaking of modly duties, pepper_field should be posting the Season 8 signup schedule Sunday September 26, so be prepared! As usual, we'll be having our hiatus including the popular trivia quiz and open season for any volunteered metas that may have gotten lost along the way. Also, give thought to entering the Season Eight icontest.
And don't forget to enjoy this week's recap of Lost City Part II! by da_angel729.
