For a moment I thought I was back home, catching up on Muggle soaps. Is this really the kind of crap that makes the front page news over here? But then... I suppose that Wizarding London doesn't really have a "tabloid" news paper...

We've discussed this, Tor... The Prophet and WW are tabloids. They wouldn't know actual "news" if it bit them on the arse.

So much for journalistic integrity...

journalistic integrity

Sorry - can't make head nor tail of that. Journalists? With morals?

I suppose we should be thankful (to some extent). There are worse things that could happen to make the front page news....

Oh agreed... But it makes one wonder if the "journalist" at the Prophet ever get tired of writing nothing but drivel...

My thought would be no. After all, she seems to be so skilled at it....

Please, please tell me you aren't as surprised as this entry makes you seem. If you truly are astounded at the Prophet's lack of class, I'd ask you for a ticket to wherever you've been vacationing that's left you so blissfully unaware.

I'm sorry... I was having a "human" moment, as a certain writer, from this country would probably term it... You know... stating and re-stating the painfully obvious. I try not to let it happen too often.

I'm sorry--I've elected to avoid the waste of time that is the Prophet of late, and get my news elsewhere; your allusion to an obviously flawed definition is lost on me.

I would suggest that you retain your "humanity" but avoid the "painfully obvious" as best you can.

Even if that article was written in a clear Q+A format, I still feel as though my opinions were unfairly represented... And I've never proclaimed myself to be a werewolf extraordinaire!! This is the last time I ever allow myself to be sucked into the Daily Prophet. Job be damned...
