I didn’t get the lead role in the play.
Not only did I not get the lead role, I didn’t get ANY role!!!
When I saw the listings and tried to talk to the director this morning, she was gone- I’d checked 3 times and she wasn’t there, even though her office was unlocked. The fourth time she was there but walked out while I stood, less than 6 feet away

And yeah, I'm not going to lie, I TOTALLY had a bunch of immature daydreams about my Oscar acceptance speech when I thank him and not her, telling people to follow their dreams. XD

And yeah, I'm definitely not a crew person. I couldn't stand to have to stand there and basically serve and support the actors playing the parts I had auditioned for. I just don't have that grace.
It's okay, though. I just posted a new entry about auditioning for community theatre, the musical Oliver!, and I think it went well *knocks wood*. Details are in my new post.

I don't remember you saying that to me.
I understand the chemistry of a cast is important...but at the same time...she kind of just admitted that theatre at BEHS is one big popularity contest. >.>
