ROFLMFAO...... For anyone you has ever read Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" I'm sure you will get a huge kick out this article.  Even if you haven't it still absolutely fascinating.

"...It could be that there is a whole new universe a millimeter away from our heads, but at right angles to the three dimensions that are here..."

Great article, I have been waiting for that to come online for a while - I have goosebumps thinking about what they will find!

So, 10 to the negative forty is the probability of disaster. How does he know that when he built a machine that is going to experiment with a bunch of stuff that we don’t know? Hasn’t it occurred to anyone else that one of the things we don’t know could jump up and bite us in the ass? I’ve read a bunch of sci-fi that starts just like that, and trust me on this; you do not want to be inside one of those stories.

On the other hand, if it was me, and my machine, I’d still turn it on anyway.

Yup, I'd have to turn it on too. I am leery though about them being able to access dark energy and matter. Gives me goosebumps.

Yeah, so, the universe is supposedly made up mostly of some mysterious energies and materials that we cannot directly observe. Now, they are going to try and see what happens if we flip the switch and make a tiny big-bang.

Terrible things that could happen:
1. It works; we get a black hole that won’t go away and it eats the planet.
2. It works; we get a white hole that spews normal matter and energy from the dark stuff and the earth goes boom
3. It works; ravening hordes of demonic forces poor from the newly open gate that these foolish mortals have created.
4. It doesn’t work; and we end up with a really expensive way to heat up your budget gourmet.
5. It sort of works, and the Pentagon creates weapons that will suck things into another dimension. Unfortunately, once there, the “bad guys” enlist the help of Star-Trek like god like aliens.

Yes, and John says hi. Actually what he said was,” ZABBA!!!”

Those all sound like very plausible and realistic scenarios enough...either that or we watch way to much scifi.

Tell John i said hi and give him a lick for me.

It is one of my favorites, Da Vinci code was good but I loved A&D.
