Somewhat ashamed to admit that I’ve never read anything by David Foster Wallace. Worse, I didn’t even know who he was until I learned of his suicide, and now almost every blog I read is gushing about him. And so I’m curious, naturally. Who was this man, and what made his prose so wonderful?
