Arizona became the first state to defeat an anti-marriage amendment yesterday. I so don't want to have to move there.

As I said to another friend; it's pretty ironic that the amendment passed, and so did a referendum on the death penalty, but overall the Dems did well. I hope eventually the people wake up and see that this amendment is based on hate, and capital punishment will not deter crime; time will tell.
