Tonight is the perfect example of my stated subject. to a fucking T. nothing like seeing what my eyes witnessed tonight for a reality check. really made me think. and i'm posting these thoughts of mine, 1) because i can't sleep yet, my racing mind is not alloiwng it, and 2) because you all should hear this

Which is one reason why I wait at least an hour if I've even had one drink. More drinks means more hors that I wait.

And this is why I get nervous when I hear about my friends who still drive high, too. They think, "pot is different, I'm fine to drive" but what they don't stop to realize is that most people who get behind the wheel when they're drunk think that they're ok to drive, too.

you guys did a really brave thing. i'm really proud of you both for stopping and for caring.

and for being sober drivers. yay sober drivers!

but i'm sorry you had to deal with that. i saw a car flip over once - i was only 14 or so, but luckily i was with adults who knew what to do. it was horrible to see though.

i should probably also mention that the driver of the flipped over vehicle got out of the car with a beer bottle in his hand, which is just further proof of how bad drinking and driving is.

yeah thats why we ussualy have a Designated Driver at all times. it used to be heather and nicole because they were always under age but now it's sorta been Jillian for me. since we've only been to one party that wasnt at my house since we've started dating. but that was awesome. the goddess deffinately sent two of her best out that night. btw you guys should take EMT training courses. you were awesome first responders

I'm still willing to drive for people most of the time, I just need to be asked in advance (and I still like gas money if I'm going far.)

I don't much care if I drink or not, as long as I'm having fun.

*points up* i must agree with pjmac. the goddess put out her two best people last night and you both did an awesome job...not just Danny for pulling the girl out of the car, but for you for being able to keep your head and calling 911. I'm proud of both of you.
