Thanks for telling me, I was worried sick! And lonely, I really needed you...

There were a few things you'd probably be glad you missed. At least I didn't get the chance to be total jerk to you when current me merged with an alternate timeline me. And the Doctor was back for like, a second or two.

In the meantime, Ianto's left and I've gotten a new angle on our getting home problem.

Also. You have got to tell me about this alternate timeline thing. And WTF is up with the Doctor leaving all of a sudden? He didn't even say goodbye...

I know where and what Ireland is, it just would have been nice to have had a note or something. 'Gone to reconnect with my roots, be back!'

The alternate timeline thing was not fun I just...it's hard to talk about still. Not that what I did was that bad but the memories of the other me... It was the first time this town really got to me and it didn't end well for me or anyone else, as far as I can tell.

I don't know the Doctor well enough to say what's going on with his head, but I'd assume he can't stand to be in one place for long. Aliens with a spacial awareness of time just have a different....outlook...on things. I dunno. Wanna meet up somewhere?
