This has such a neat feel - they're younger, and yeh, it's an AU, but the characterizations are so perfect against the 80's backdrop (makes me nostalgic *G*). I am really looking forward to seeing what else develops with these two - Rodney's coming out to John has a completely natural, organic flow and I'm glad you went with what the characters were insisting on.
