Hey, taichou --

When are we going to get to working with genjutsu? Nevermind what I'm doing, but shouldn't Konohako and Moegi get to know more about actually casting it? I know you suck at it, but no reason for them to as well... I get that getting better about detection will happen over time, but it feels like you only've barely touched it. ( Read more... )

Genjutsu of most forms are a chuunin level technique, requiring not only good experience in chakra but also strong control of chakra. Bunshin are about the only thing that don't require that level of control. Beyond which, there's no point in teaching someone how to do something if they don't have the ability to undo it, and kai is definitely a chuunin level technique.

I'm sure you've noticed by now that there are only two people on this team who can control chuunin level techniques.

I knew how to do it before entering the academy. It was one of the things my mom taught me in case I ever needed to use it. I know it's not taught at the academy, and Kaka-sensei taught it to Sakurai because he had an aptitude. Naruko didn't seem to be able to get it, though.

Didn't realize it was chuunin-level.
