Ha! That's exactly what Gene and co. would be say.

This was really lovely, I loved how you captured Alex's character and thoughts. I loved this part:
It's frightening, terrifying to think that perhaps every moment we've spent together could be lost to a small lump of metal from a deranged criminal's gun. It cheapens life and love so much to know that it can be erased just like that.

It's so poignant and sad to think that Molly is slowly slipping away from Alex.

Some of my favourite bits of Ashes to Ashes are how Alex comes across to the others, and how she must feel so far from her daughter. It breaks my heart!
