War against Women

Today, I'm angry. No, not about fandom or Celiacs or any of those trival things. Today, I am angry because, once again, the world sits back and watches as women and children are abused.

I've known this for some time and did my little bit to help, but every time I read about their situation it just disgusts me more, that humans can do such things to one another. It's unacceptable.

It is disgusting.

I know this sounds fucked up but I don't think we can blame those 10 year old boys for for raping the baby. We can't blame them when they grow up learning that their behavior is ok. I'm not trying to defend the behavior in any way, I'm just throwing this out there. There is someone to blame, though, and its hard to say who that would be because generations of people are growing up knowing that raping women is ok... I guess the people we can ultimately blame are those who sit back and let this happen...

Your post has touched me. If I wasn't in so much debt from medical bills, I would mostly definitely donate in any way I could.

Thanks for posting this, even though it is the darkest part of reality.

Actually, you know what, I'm going to DO MY BEST to get my anthropology degree. I'm half way there and just quit (well, there were issues) but I will do it.

We need as many people as we can to bring this to the attention of the masses.

I don't blame them. I merely was illustrating how a culture of violence and degradation was being created.
