I just had my jaw hanging open when she gave a shout out to her brother and what I am assuming is his class...during a Veep national debate.

I wanted to slap her so many times. Joe Biden totally PWNED her on the Maverick thing after 500th time she said it.

Your summary is spot on!

I can't stand it. I just... I can't. This is just completely insane, even for my (very low) standards of the Republican party.

Is this what we're reduced to? Seriously, as Americans? 'Cause this Joe-Six-Pack is moving.

My roommates and I kept switching back and forth between the US Vice-Presidential debate and the English Canadian (Prime Minister) Candidate debate, and I think both were pathetic on all accounts. :/

I swear to god though, Palin clearly has a love for the word "maverick." Someone must have accidentally given the woman a dictionary this morning. She was like a toddler with a new favorite toy. I asked the girls I was with if we should crack a bottle of whiskey and start a drinking game. "Next time she says 'maverick' or 'gosh darn,' take a drink."

I know. I swear...I wanted to take a drink every time she said also or to be.
