Tezuka lights up, but you can't get him in My Computer. When you plug it in, it makes half-hearted whirring sounds, then peters out and stops. He's only six months old!
Hrm. This sounds like a failure of some sort, but I second the idea of plugging it into another computer. Changing the cable is another step to test, too. Man, I wish I was there to put the fear of Fuji into Tezuka. XD
is there another computer you can plug tezuka into to check? if not, maybe you can run down to your local - i don't know if your have staples or office depot where you are, but one of those huge electronics places which does computer repairs and has a decent reputation, and see if they can salvage your anime and manga ... i don't know what sort of warranty you have on him ...
