Hi, I just came across your journal completely by accident *cough* definitely not via any ten/ten slash pics *cough* but it seems we have similar interests and I have nobody to squee with about doctor who on my friends list at the moment (and also, need MOAR angry feminists) and OMG can I steal your list of people I would definitely not get on with?
And I've also just realised I have reading fail since you said you're not interested in current series DW. But you still sound like someone I'd get on with so the add stands, unless I now sound weird.

As long as you're okay with the fact that I really don't like Moffat (and that it is sometimes discussed in my posts!) & that Tencest is pretty much the only strictly m/m slash art I will post here (I prefer the ladies), then friend away! :)
ETA: I also *do* engage in lots of DW squeeing, just over Classic Who and the RTD era.
Yeah, I understand the Moffat hate totally. I just got into the series before I knew anything about him, so I'm kind of hooked now :/ but that's cool ^^
I'm planning on rewatching pretty much all of DW series 1-4 over this summer, since I only watched odd episodes here and there when it was first on. Some of my favourite episodes were RTD ones though. I like his writing style a lot. :)
Yay new friends! :) Friended back. I feel like all interactions on LJ have an element of stalker-y ness to them, so it's all good.
And I'm always pleased to meet more people for whom "but he's a good writer" doesn't trump "but he's a misogynistic asshat and you can see it in the writing".
You haven't watched the new seasons, have you Nope, and what I've heard doesn't sound too impressive in terms of plot amazingness. But since I haven't actually witnessed most of his writing I give it somewhat of a pass...
