Tardis Ficathon manip
This is just a manip post, so nothing to see here- (unless you're here for manips of course) Ten & Rose, in the TARDIS, being sexy and cute. (This is my entry for the TARDIS ficathon.)
There's no nudity, but Rose is is a bra and a short skirt with garters and stockings, so if may not be work appropriate?

So I signed up for the TARDIS ficathon on tumblr, because I thought it might be fun to build some interesting TARDIS room out of scraps. The prompt I was randomly assigned was "Hall of Mirrors", which my initial response to was just bafflement as to what I was going to do. Unlike a lot of things with manips, reflections can't really be faked, (meaning: convincingly by me) because you need both sides of an image, which you don't usually find in found images. So I was bummed. Also, the prompt seemed like it would go swimmingly with some sexy smut, and I stay in the PG-13 range. But after some searching, I found an image that I thought would work, though you all will really the judge of that. I think the reflections are still not very convincing, but hopefully it's okay because Rose is pretty much the center of the image? Rose wasn't really much of a problem, as the body was refreshingly normal and I didn't change much, except for a bit of boob adjustment. I then added more floor, deleted the wall and built a TARDIS wall instead, and then added some TARDIS coral. Next I built the mirror reflection- added a wall, another mirror (it is the hall of mirrorS, after all), the coral, and mirror Ten, who is a bunch of stuff together- his suit, the stripes, the shirt and his face are all different images. Actual Ten is just two, the body and the face, with some adjustments. Actual Ten and Mirror Ten caused me a lot of tears, as I could just not figure out the angles and perspectives and sizes in the mirror, to the point where I took pictures of my dresser mirror, using a salt shaker for Rose and a box of baking soda for Ten. And then I gave up and asked my awesome beta, who helped me sort it out. I then blurred both the mirror and actual Ten, as there is a tight focus on Rose in the original image. The original picture was black and white, but it looked a bit cold. So I colored everyone in, added a gold wash because the TARDIS always seems warm to me, and added a bit of grain and sharpening and noise reduction. Hopefully the coloring doesn't look totally out of wack?
