Here's a bit of (obviously unsolicited) advice/commentary:

Your drawing of Rose, Martha, Donna, River, et al. in any combination fighting viciously over the Doctor (presumably as a romantic object) is not:

1. Funny
2. Original
3. Interesting
4. In character

Apparently that's all women do. Every female character only has one purpose on Doctor Who and that is to fight over the Doctor. All that depth and brilliance a character like Martha, Rose etc have means absolutely nothing compared to the fights they should be having over the Doctor. Sigh.

I agree with you, it drives me nuts and it's not exactly that amusing.

Actually, now I have this great idea of a bunch of them fighting over who doesn't keep Ten. Or is that just my feelings... Never mind.

Also, you've read Double Crossing right? Ten, Rose, Seven and Ace. So much fun :)

I don't understand why the fandom equation for male character + male character always equals slash or bromance, but the equation for female character + female character only equals catfights. :P

I just...really? I'm so glad I've never run across that... Now fanfics, yeah, plenty of those. But drawing them too? Just...no.

It's what happens when you search for female character + female character. :P I was hoping for pictures of them teaming up to save the world...

I mean, I get that Rose and Martha get a bit jealous, but I NEVER understood WHY that meant they had to act childish and TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER in fics. Okay, so Rose and Sarah Jane were petty with each other at the beginning, but they realized how childish they were being (which, shows that they're mature because they acknowledged it) and became good friends. Martha was jealous of Rose (who she thought left the Doctor willingly), but then becomes this amazing world heroine on her own.

I just don't get why Sarah Jane and/or the Doctor don't get as much crap thrown at them for being jealous too (not that there should be! Still though...).

Exactly. We see them both get jealous in canon, but they quickly get over it and don't act like idiots.

I'm always amazed when people talk about School Reunion and all they get from it is that Rose is a "jealous bitch". They missed the WHOLE POINT of the episode!

And you're right, the Doctor especially is shown to be much more jealous (hello, Nine!) than Rose ever is.

I think it's because I was searching for things like "Martha + Rose" thinking I would get images of the two of them hanging out together. Don't know why I thought that. "P
