I often wonder the same thing, about what decides who stays and who goes. [Especially lately, now that one of the people he would even consider a friend is gone.] It seems quite arbitrary. Some people are here for mere weeks, while others a whole year. I myself have been here over half a year.

[He's in too much of a thoughtful mood to really care who he's rambling to right now. This has been on his mind all week.]

Yes, there really does seem to be no explanation. However, for some people, it seems that Johto is rather cruel with who it picks to send home.

[She is referring to the many posts of distraught people whose friends have suddenly been whisked away. It seems to be that time where many have gone home.]
