If you have the means, please consider donating to Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support. It's a coalition of active organizations that are engaged in caring for animals right now. Personally I'd rather donate money to a group like this, than to some giant organization that's collecting money without even doing anything yet or giving information on what specifically they will be doing.
