Hey, thanks for the rec! Hilarious twist on the kidfic, and some of the best rambling concussed thoughts I've ever read.

I hope Aelfgyfu continues this lovely trend of writing classic SG-1. :)

You made me read kidfic! LOL. I trust you, and I know A's writing (even if I can never spell her name right), and you wooed me with mention of Bill Lee and teamy goodness. So I took the plunge.

I am so glad I read it. It's long...and not skimmable long, long with rich descriptions and witty banter that make you want it to keep going and going.

Aside from Bill (and of course our awesome foursome), Janet's scenes rocked!

And I adored the twists on the kidfic. Thanks for rec'cing it, and hope things are cozy now in your new home...cozy and done and settled enough you're writing again, wink wink nudge nudge. ;-)

LOL! I got so excited reading this, I started taking notes and creating a rec for stargateficrec when I next pimp for them (probably in Dec) before I forgot anything. (sg_fignewton, do you hear that? I call dibs on rec'cing! Hee.)

And when I got to the end and read the Author's Notes, my jaw dropped when she referenced JaS. I mean, I knew I liked her portrayal of Lee...but LOL [blushes].

Whoo hoo! Teal'c fic! I've just met a Stargate newbie who is all about Teal'c. (She just finished S1 though and is avoiding spoilage, heh).

When your friend gets as far as S7, point her towards Almost a Statesman. One of the best. Teal'c fics. EVER.
