Here is a lolcat that reminds me of my office: :((( But Twitter is somehow magically unblocked, which is pretty great. Still no LJ, but I guess I probably wouldn't want to take the chance of logging in at work anyway. I know they're watching us.

The Walking Dead was delightful. Definite cinema-quality on a TV show, which is always refreshing to see.

Yeah, I'm into it so far. I like the format and the premise a lot anyway. There really aren't any characters I've really connected with as of yet, but hopefully I'll get more invested in somebody.

I'm not familiar with the original source material - I think it's a graphic novel series? - but I know some of the main actors from other shows, and I'm intrigued enough to keep watching. Darn cliffhanger ending.

Yeah, it's a graphic novel, but I haven't read it either. I'm definitely intrigued enough to keep watching, but honestly, they had me at "srs bznz zombie TV show." I'm easy like that.

I agree with all your Gossip Girl comments. ALL OF THEM.

I mean, I know they obviously had to break Chuck and Blair up for the sake of Dramatic Tension or whatever, and I am enjoying doing the build-up again, I have to admit, but when I think too hard about it I just get kind of bewildered. Also, they need to be careful of how they break them up because while we are all aware that Chuck and Blair are terrible and that's part of why we love them, they have to be terrible yet also sympathetic, not just *terrible.* And Chuck was teetering on the line there for awhile.

okay, because i am a terrible person, i love stories about people who can't get over each other even when they should, and use terrible metaphors about planets and gravity and orbits, which is why i love chuck/blair. i wish they would DEAL WITH THEIR SHIT (and that the writers would figure out which shit needs to be dealt with and which can be ignored, JENNY), but i'm excited to see them together again. and i'm hoping that Blair does ridic things and, like, breezily lies about it to Serena while having ALL OF THE SEX with chuck.

YESSSSS I love those things too. I also love headgames played by worthy adversaries and assholes in love, so Chuck and Blair are pretty much *everything* that I love.

But yeah. I was over the Jenny thing before it even started.

i'm hoping that Blair does ridic things and, like, breezily lies about it to Serena while having ALL OF THE SEX with chuck.

I kind of suspect you will get your wish!

They so are. I was like SCREAMING at the end of the episode (after watching it last night). It was probably too entertaining for Garren, to say the least.

Oh God, me too. Shrieking, flailing around. It was entirely undignified.
