I know. It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting in this exact chair, staring at my computer screen and melodramatically vowing to leave bandom forever. I am glad that didn't take, but still. It does not feel like it's been that long.

THIS. I'm trying trying really hard to only enjoy RPF fandoms from a distance and with a certain amount of emotional disengagement. Fictional fandoms always break your heart too, of course, but it just isn't the same.

I was just feeling all woeful and nostalgic about bandom, before I realised it was the anniversary of the split. Oh god. :(

I remembered that it was right after July 4th weekend, but until I was looking at my journal archives last night, I didn't remember how soon after. :\

Yeah. Okay, no, okay -- let's think of The Like and other things the split's brought us indirectly, c'mon.
