After all of the angsting over what to be for Halloween I finally just threw on one of my Mardi Gras masks and my second best cape (because it's lined with purple satin and matched the mask) and called it good. I told her it was my second best cape and she just blinked at me and then went, "...I love that you have a first and second best cape"

ha, I was going to comment saying pretty much the same thing, so now I can only say, "This!"

I am also impressed (and jealous) by the fact that you have two capes. Especially since I myself am cape deprived.

Oh please, can we talk about Ryan and Z? Because I really, really love them. And I would really love an AU where Ryan and Z hear about a party that Jon Walker's throwing in Chicago. People are saying that he's got the biggest diamond this side of the Atlantic and that he'll be showing it off at his party. So Ryan and Z, being the masterminds they are, decide to crash the party and steal the jewel. Only then they fall in love! And it turns out that Jon's really kind of nice and he doesn't have a diamond after all, but he does know how to throw a really great party!

Also, capes are amazing. (So is Victoria!)

I would read that fic so hard. Heist narratives are one of my very favorite tropes and heist fic starring Ryan and Z would be pretty excellent. Of course, I would also read canon based fic about these shenanigans because really I don't know how they could get any more adorable, but I am actually fairly confident they will find a way. Like, whose idea was that? And I love that they just do it. Like, "I'm bored and I don't have Halloween plans, let's fly to Chicago?" And the other person's like, "Yes, excellent idea, we can buy tickets at the airport, let's wear our costumes on the plane!" SO CUTE.

I am pleased that choosing to care about Z Berg is turning out to be such an A+ fannish decision.
