It has not been five years! Oh my lord. I was actually in online fandom when it aired, and I came to online fandom *way* late in the canon.

Dude. How long have I known you? This is insane, I feel old. And now I miss the Buffyverse.

The comics just don't *grab* me the way the show did, which is so odd since I'm a comics fan - it still feels like the magic of the fandom is gone!

I haven't even been reading the comics, though I keep meaning to pick them up.

I love my new fandoms - I have actually loved many fandoms since the Buffyverse (which wasn't even *really* my first fandom), but none of them have been the same!
