I have had The Hush Sound's "The Boys are Too Refined" stuck in my head for two days and it wasn't until I was over at kita0610's lj looking at her journal title that I realized that they're riffing off e.e. cummings. When I read that title, I read it as the poem's title first, haha. I enjoy the way they've turned it.

(um you should defintely listen to the song m'dear. i don't know what kind of music you listen to but every time i listen to it i think of you, perhaps because of your lj layout but maybe just because.)

re: Pretty. Odd. - don't listen to me. Definitely wait until you hear it and decide. Lots of people love it. It's a lot more upbeat than Fever is and it is very, *very* different (they mean the title literally), so you can't go in expecting it to be Fever, but if you take it on its own merits it's a lot of fun.

(Also - do you know when you're going to be able to mail out those dvds? Just curious since I'm packing up here before too long).
