I am watching this show as pure unadulterated crack. I cannot be disappointed. There is NOTHING they can do which will displease me. It is, in the words of the immortal James Marsters, EYE CANDY for my SOUL.

He left out the soul part. And he's not really immortal. But I DO NOT CARE. CRACK! CRACK I TELLS YOU! CRRRACK!

Oh, H. I have not been this happy about fandom in a long, long time.

I can't really be disappointed either, because I expect nothing of it. Half of the fun is the snark. It is totally eye candy of the soul. (I guess Jack could stop making out with everyone he comes into contact with. That might disappoint me. But that would be the only way).

It's crack and I love it. And I am so glad you are happy about fandom! <333 TW is very shiny. And filled with gay.

So JM was clearly having the time of his life. I sort of feel like he was playing Spike, but I don't care because I'm okay with that.

But the second I'm supposed to read it as romantic it feels all forced and ick.

I don't even see what would attract him to her. I, too, dislike her lying and cheating. :P

He was! But that was . . . kind of part of the appeal.

I like Gwen a lot better than I used to! I hope to like everyone by the end of the season. Really, TW is such crack, I just want to sit back and enjoy the cracktastic awesome. I mean, sure it sucks sometimes? But I don't care! It's very similar to how I feel about Nip/Tuck actually. Except I have less affectionate amusement for N/T and more horrified awe. But it's a similar reaction.

though I would have given Ianto +10 points if he'd actually shot the blowfish. I keep expecting there to be something going *on* with him other than coffee boy/Jack's arbitrary love interest. /unpopular fannish opinions ftw! I want to love him! I want to be invested in the canon ship! I WANT to okay? And I don't dislike him, I just don't find him all that interesting. He and Jack were actually really cute with the date scene, though. I found myself going "awwwww" and that's a really good sign. Maybe they will win me over with actual narrative consistency and character development. I'm not holding my breath, but it could happen.
Every single word in this is made of 'omgmetoo!!'.

This season I am hoping for canon threesomes
YES. They are also tempting me with the team orgies.
