Isn't it interesting, though, that fandom AS A WHOLE seems to be doing Harry Potter?

And once again, you think about the things that I have been thinking about.

I have also not read an lynnevitational fics, for similar insane reasons. Of course, I haven't written mine either. Just come up with a new idea for it every day. I think the most recent one might stick though. *shrugs*

I wish I had something more insightful to say about the fact that HP has taken over fandom, and the shared experience of that and how it can change one's approach to the text. I don't, really. Not beyond half-formed thoughts, anyway. But it is interesting.

I selfishly want you to write B/F because I want to read it, but I'm sure that whatever you come up with will be great. I'll read pre-series Faith too!

Didn't you write B/F? I'm starting to feel like maybe my B/F fanon is just this amorphous thing that I feel really passionate about but may never fully take form as an actual story.

Or maybe I'm just so used to writing fic *on impulse* that this is hard for me.

HAHAHAHA. I wrote A/B/S/F and it BROKE MY BRAIN. It's sort-of, kind-of, primarily B/F and A/S with, like, a whole lot of other stuff going on and it took FOREVER and it HURT and GAVE ME A COMPLEX and I'm going to stop talking about it now because the topic makes me a little hysterical.

I hear you on the B/F thing, though. This is the first time I've managed to write them at all, and that's because it wasn't straight-up B/F. Normally I can't even start. I'm really picky about it, but I couldn't even articulate what works for me with the pairing. I know it when I see it, but I don't even know why. Somebody needs to write a post-Chosen B/F EPIC. That would be awesome. I know I've said that before.

maybe I'm just so used to writing fic *on impulse* that this is hard for me.

Sometimes I need ficathons to make me write at all, but getting things in on *time* is really not something I'm very good about.

Dude, your fic rocks. Full stop.

I bought a Ravenclaw tie last nite at the bookstore! I..am not even in the fandom. But I'm going to the book event thingy with Fodlet, and she bought her Slytherin tie. So wtf. I'll put on my school girl skirt and a pair of docs and go balls out.

My entire FL is dead.

Thank you.

It would be cool to have a real Ravenclaw tie, but I was not sure how to go about such a thing. I'm going to a midnight release party too, so might as well go all out. I'll find something in the back of my closet that will work.

D, for the next week, we are all in the fandom.

My entire fl is dead too. Don't they know they're supposed to entertain me?

Where IS everybody?

Well, a lot of people have left the internets and are hiding under rocks in their basement for fear of spoilers. Other are reading all the spoilers they can find. Others are sitting back and plotting fic based of the James Marsters/John Barrowman TW pic. The Dexter fen are watching the you know what that came out today. And some people over at the Twilight fandom are making fanmixes in anticipation to the third book.

Then there are those who are having lives outside he internets. I'm not sure how such thing is possible but I've been told it happens.

I cannot wait for the fic based on that picture. I cannot wait for that episode.

The Dexter fen are watching the you know what that came out today.

Oooo. I *don't* know what, actually. What?

People have lives outside of the internet? That's crazy talk.

Ahhhh. I did not hear that. I knew something Dexter related was going on, but people were being vague.

I haven't read any Lynnevitational fics either (well, except for the ones that I beta'd), and I'm not even thinking about working on mine because my brain has been swallowed WHOLE by Mr. Potter. So...solidarity?

BTW, some asshole came in and posted anon with some supposed DH spoilers to my last post. I have no idea how he found me...I'm not in the fandom! But, if you don't have anon comments disabled, you might want to go ahead and do that.

Solidarity! Though I'll probably read a few of them tomorrow since I won't be reading anything but Deathly Hollows this weekend. *g*

Yikes. That sucks. I'm sorry that happened. Thanks for the heads up.

I am in the same boat re:Lynnevitational. Haven't read any, probably won't until I post mine for fear of feelings of unworthiness paralyzing me. Probably won't post mine until Monday at the earliest because of the potter. Probably more like Tuesday or Wednesday. And that's if i finish editing it amidst the pottermania.

I also won't be getting my potter until amazon brings it. My neighborhood is too hard to bus into and out of off peak (so, evenings and weekends) it was way easier to just instruct amazon to bring it to me.

ANYWAY. We are twins in our unlynnevitational readingness and our amazon potterness.

I probably won't post mine until next week either. Just easier that way.

I really want to get a copy at midnight! Especially because I will be surrounded by people who will have it! But it's my own fault for not bothering to reserve a copy, and maybe it's a better idea to read it on Saturday after I've slept than to read it in a rush in the middle of the night on Friday.
