IT WAS AWESOME, SAMANTHA. We must have a Torchwood party as soon as humanly possible. I would tell you what the alien in the second ep was, but you wouldn't believe me, it is just that good. Campy, British sci-fi has to be my favorite thing just about ever. I couldn't love this show more if its special effects didn't suck.

Please. Captain Jack owned me the moment he popped the cork on the champagne atop his invisible ship tied up to the Big Ben. ignited said "Captain Jack leads with his pelvis."

And I've loved him ever since. He could spend an ep kicking puppies and I'd still love him.

His powers are . . . awesome. *is captivated* I mean, part of it is the appeal of a bisexual male lead and a text I don't have to queer, but the rest of it is just the absolute awesomeness that is Captain Jack.

I assume you all have watched it by now? I didn't see this earlier. I watched both of them last night. I would happy to watch either or both again, and we REALLY REALLY need a Dr. Who party soon. ;)
