Congrats! I'm confused, though - you didn't have to submit the completed (written) thesis before the presentation? In undergrad, for my honors thesis, that was due a week or two before the thesis defense.

Now that I'm at the end of law school, btw, I'm procrastinating like hell on my thesis. "So screwed" does NOT begin to cover it.

The presentation (it's not really a formal defense in the way that one would defend a dissertation or something) is now and the completed written product is due in mid-July. Partly this is hurricane related and due to the fact pretty much no one got anything done last semester, so having everything written by this point really wasn't feasible in most cases. The honors program has also been reorganized recently and they're trying new things to see how they work, so we were kind of the guinea pigs even before the Katrina screwed up the timeline.

I'll probably procrastinate until the last minute on getting mine finished as well. I've got most of a draft - and that is probably all I will have until after the end of the semester.
