I am not the hugest fan of the 1830's and 40's but these are beautiful examples of the period.

Have you seen Bright Star, the film about poet John Keats and his love Fanny Brawne? I don't know much about the period (1818, I think) but the costumes are fantastic. Fanny Brawne was a seamstress so they play that up in the film. Plus it's a beautiful movie!
